1/23/14 Boost Your Immune System

By - Friday, January 31, 2014

Snow and a high of 31 degrees today, 50's and 60's for the weekend, and back in the 30's by Monday. Sounds like perfect weather for getting sick. Are you in good shape to weather the winter? Read on for recommendations and specials.

Also in this issue, Melanie's most recent blog about those knee-jerk reactions and how to handle them. And, join us next Saturday for Sedona Method Releasing.

Boost Your Immune System and Avoid Suffering

For the last 7 years, we have been offering an NMT treatment to boost the immune system and help the body fight off colds and flu. The feedback we get from clients is that it's working. The treatment can be done before any symptoms or once you get sick to shorten the duration of illness. Those who have waited until they are sick tell us they are usually well in half the time, or less, than others around them.

For the month of February, we are offering 20% off the flu treatment, making your cost only $56 (for acupuncture add $10). What's your health worth to you?

We also recommend Ilex 15, a Chinese Herb formula from Seven Forests for those with a cold, cough, sneezing, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, skin eruptions, and sore throat.

Call 303-762-8994 today for your appointment.

Are Knee-Jerk Reactions Ruining Your Life?
In our daily interactions, when we feel fully present and engaged, we respond based on current circumstances. At other times, when we may not be quite as present, we get easily triggered and reactive.
We become reactive when the present moment gets associated with an unpleasant experience from the past. The reaction happens so quickly that we don’t recognize what’s happening. Rebecca, a client who came in for couples counseling with her husband, demonstrated reactive behavior beautifully. In one of our early sessions together, Rebecca’s husband suggested that she take some time off. Rebecca immediately flew into a rage and started explaining and defending her need to work eighty hours a week. When we dug under the reaction, Rebecca shared that she felt she was being attacked, and under that, she had feelings of not doing a good enough job as wife and mother. He husband’s comment reminded her of how her father had told her she wasn’t doing it right about many things in her life. She was unable to see that her husband’s comment came out of concern for her well-being.  Read More
